R.D. Rodgers, Editorial Director and Co-Producer, The Northrop Frye Centennial Project, and Vice President, ArchiveSync Limited

Mr. Rodgers has an MA in English from the University of Toronto and is a former graduate student of Northrop Frye. He carried out research at the Bodleian Library in Oxford, lectured at Ryerson University (then Institute), McGill University, and the University of Toronto where he later became executive producer of the newly created Media Centre. Northrop Frye’s The Bible and Literature was one of his many series as executive producer before becoming president (retired) of the film and video production company, Bellair Communications.

William Somerville, Co-Producer, The Northrop Frye Centennial Project and President, ArchiveSync Limited

Mr. Somerville began his career with Scottish Television in Glasgow. He became Head of Media Services for the Faculty of Engineering and later joined the University of Toronto Media Centre as producer/director. With Bob Rodgers he co-founded Bellair Communications Ltd., moving on later to become Director of the newly formed Broadcast and Recording Service of the Legislature of Ontario. He currently freelances as media producer and owns and operates a specialty business called The Scottish Company.

Jean O’Grady, Academic Consultant

Professor O’Grady’s awards include a Woodrow Wilson Fellowship, Governor-General's Gold Medal, Yale University Fellowship, and Canada Council Doctoral Award. A student and colleague of Professor Frye, she has published many scholarly articles, among them some dozen on Doctor Frye. Currently Associate Editor of The Collected Works of Northrop Frye, she has just put the finishing touches on the final Volume, No. 30.

Nella Cotrupi, Research/Writer

Dr. Cotrupi has a PhD in Comparative Literature and an LLB from the University of Toronto. She was a teaching assistant to Northrop Frye, and has given courses relating to his works at St. Michael’s College, Victoria University, and the School of Continuing Studies, U of T. Following a Doctoral Fellowship from The Social Science and Humanities Research Council, she became Visiting Scholar at The Northrop Frye Centre, Victoria University, and has lectured and published widely on Frye including the full length study, Northrop Frye and the Poetics of Process.

Robin Ganev, Research/Writer

With a Ph.D from York University, Robin Ganev is Associate Professor in History at the University of Regina where she teaches the history of Britain and the British Empire. She is the author of Songs of Protest, Songs of Love: Popular Ballads in Eighteenth-Century Britain (Manchester University Press, 2009). She is currently working on a project about Scottish national identity in the eighteenth century.

Edgar Cowan, Executive Producer, The Northrop Frye Centennial Project

Mr. Cowan has been the Publisher, Saturday Night Magazine, and President, Readers’ Club of Canada. Cowan was a founding partner in CITY-TV, Toronto, CEO of C Channel cultural pay television and national launch director of the Sympatico Canadian Internet Service. He has served on the Boards of many cultural organizations including the Canadian Council of the Arts, the National Theatre School, the Writer's Development Trust, the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and most recently as content and marketing counsel to Library and Archives Canada.
